Pieces shuffled into one of hundreds of starting setups — pure skill, no memorized openings. To castle, move your king onto your own rook (or two squares toward it).

Jump into a friendly game against a random real opponent online. Just for fun — never affects your rating or stats.

Ranked 1v1
We match you with a random opponent close to your rating, so games stay fair. Counts toward your rating, wins, and streaks.

Two-on-two team match. Opponents are always random; counts toward a separate 2v2 rating.

Streak
The players on the longest active win streaks — and the rivals they've toppled. Lose to a streaking player and you'll land on their wall. Get revenge.
Standings
Points: +3 per ranked win, +1 per draw. End-of-season rewards arrive after the month closes.
Live leaderboard
Win = 2 pts · Draw = 1 · a 3rd straight win and beyond = 3 pts 🔥. Top player at the bell is champion.
Climb the ladder one rung at a time. Beat the next challenger to unlock the one above. Replay anyone you've already toppled.
Streak trophies
Every 7-game winning streak earns a trophy with the names of the 7 players you beat.
Achievements
Each lesson is a puzzle — solve it to unlock the next. Your avatar levels up as you progress: pawn → knight → bishop → rook → queen → king.
